The fundamentals essence of been creative lies in one style and delivery. Therefore, one should not be hindered or become overly disturbed when asked about ones style as an artist. Acquiring your particular style is what allows you to be unique. Your uniqueness allows you to stand out among a plethora of work within the art world. It is like saying this is my voice; for example Barry White, Bob Marley and Michael Jackson all have their own creative disposition. It is that style that allows the view to be encapsulate by the aesthetic qualities and capabilities of an artist.
What’s an artist style? The concept of a personal style as an artist goes way back as to the Greek. This concept may look at the artist subject matter or medium or may limit the artistic production of an artist within a historical context.
One’s person style as an artist specifically deals with way in which the artist portrays his or her subject matter and how the artist expresses his or her creative views. Style may be describe or determined by the physical characteristics that analyze the artwork, such as how the artist uses the principles and elements within his composition. In addition to that how the artist handle his medium and techniques to create a body of work. Furthermore, the philosophy of art is also a driving force behind an artist personal style. All these aforementioned things help to define how an artist compose his artwork.
Some steps to take to develop your personal style as an artist. Try to be[A1] devoted to your studio practice and time, draw/doodle a lot. Write and look at art regularly, experiment in the studio, Step away from the art and evaluate your work as often as possible.
Can an artist have more than one style? Yes this is possible. An artist may have more than on style because of various reasons. An artist may do this to target different sector of the art market. For example two different styles my require you to exerts twice the marketing effort.
